1. In the story why is Telemachus so determined to find his father? Prove and synthesize why and cite pages to prove our answer.
2. On page 48, Hermes sends Calypso a message saying to free Odysseus. How does it affect Odysseus personally and how does it change his perspective?
3. Poseidon hates Odysseus and during Odysseus escape, Poseidon wrecks his ship and nearly drowns him. Apply concepts to state the reason why Poseidon hates Odysseus and cite pages?
4. On page 75, When Odysseus wasn’t in good condition, who helped him hospitalize back to health and was she an important person? If she weren’t there to aid him how would the outcome of the story change? How does she connect to the King Alcinoos?
